Seeking truth together
When President Obama refused to release photos of Bin Laden’s body, he reportedly said, “We’re not going to spike the football” (Rhodes, 2018). A lot has changed in the 15 years since the killing of Osama Bin Laden. I review the facts and conclusions of a 2011 blog post while asking if we are spiking the football.
“Dreams from My Father” is Barack Obama’s autobiographical coming of age story. The former president wrote it after his graduation from Harvard Law School in 1991 and published it in 1995. The book recounts his upbringing in Hawaii and Indonesia, his community work in Chicago, and the search for his paternal roots in Kenya.
